The ATLAS (Advancing Teaching, Learning, and Service) Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is the premier center to support and advance the learning college concepts in collaboration with faculty, administrators, and support personnel by providing quality, leading-edge services, programs, and resources.

The goals of the ATLAS Center focus on four broad areas of concentration:

  • to promote faculty development by fostering the professional growth and development of each faculty member

  • to encourage the exploration of best practices in learner-centered instruction

  • to promote instructional development through the infusion of new technologies, the support of best practices, and innovative outcomes assessment and results management in instruction

  • to promote institutional development through the implementation of services, programs, and resources that create a community of learners who advance the physical and cultural environment required to support learning.
